LUMA Stars

Lex Podell

who recently graduated Loyola with degrees in English and theology, has

worked at LUMA since October 2014. He is on amicable terms with the ghost in the

D’Arcy galleries. He hopes to one day, by means of a complex series of rituals known only

to museum workers, commune with the spirit of Martin D’Arcy himself. Lex is grateful

for the opportunities LUMA has given him and will be sorry to leave for a place

with fewer incorporeal inhabitants.

Diana Durr

has been working at LUMA since the fall of 2017. She was first attracted to the

museum after seeing the meaningful rotating exhibitions that all had alternative missions driving

the projects besides just producing beautiful art. Diana was honored to learn and promote the

Spring 2018 exhibitions that all shed light on prevalent, current issues in our society. Diana is

currently a senior studying advertising and public relations with a Spanish minor. In the fall, she

will study in Spain for her final semester of undergrad. Diana hopes to come back and land a

job as a copywriter at an advertising agency.

Zhili Zhou

received her Ph.D. degree in Industrial and System Engineering from University

of Florida, Gainesville, USA in 2010 and B.S., M.S., degrees in Mathematics from Nanjing

University, Nanjing, China in 2003 and 2006, respectively. Zhili worked with IBM and is

now with United Airlines. Zhili loves mathematics and arts. She has been a docent with LUMA

since 2016, where she shares her passion and learning about arts with LUMA visitors.
