Each year, Pantone selects a Color of the Year that expresses the current

global mood and attitude.

The 2017 Color of the Year is Greenery. Pantone calls it “a fresh and zesty

yellow-green shade that evokes the first days of spring when nature’s

greens revive, restore and renew,” as well as a life-affirming shade,

“emblematic of the pursuit of personal passions and vitality.”

This Pantone color of the year has been a huge trend in the wedding

industry, and we are seeing so many ways to incorporate it into wedding

designs.

Check out some ways to add this fun color into your wedding day.

FIT FOR FLORALS

No doubt Greenery fits in with floral arrangements from bouquets and

garlands to wreaths and accents on tables.

A huge advantage to brides is that using natural green and leafy elements

can help save on your floral budget. Greens pair well with the majority

of wedding flowers, including white, taupe, pink, coral, yellow and more.

Get creative by incorporating fresh herbs, succulents and ivy for winter

weddings.

To make Greenery a main color in your floral arrangements, use a lot of

greenery in the arrangements and only small pops of other colors. This

type of arrangement lends itself to more tropical, plant-based bouquets.
