CLASSICAL CAMPERS
A half-day music and arts immersion program
bringing more than 2,500 Chicago Park District
day campers ages 6–12 to Millennium Park
for an introduction to classical music through
interactive workshops, hands-on presentations,
and live performances.
CLUB 615: PRE-CONCERT LECTURES
A free pre-concert lecture series offering an
in-depth look at the Festival’s program and
performers. Wednesdays and Fridays at 5:30;
Saturdays at 6:15 in the Family Fun Tent in
Millennium Park, to the west of the
Jay Pritzker Pavilion.
YOUNG ARTISTS SHOWCASE
See Chicago’s brightest young music students
perform before the Grant Park Orchestra takes
the stage, every Friday at 5:30 p.m. in the back
of the Seating Bowl.
LUNCHTIME OPEN REHEARSALS
Watch the Grant Park Orchestra and Chorus
rehearse during the day, accompanied by an
informal docent-led talk. Tuesdays–Fridays
from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Jay Pritzker
